The iconic Chanel No.5 has been on continuos release since is launch way, way back in 1921. Its easy to call something a classic these days but this is the very essence of a genuine classic in the truest sense. A quick note on Lola perfume by Marc Jacobs. You should know there are two beautiful but different shaped bottles.
I’ve noticed that often online stores show the 3.4 oz, even when selling the 1.7 oz. To avoid disappointment here’s a pic of each so you know what your getting!
The 3.4 oz bottle is to the left and the 1.7 oz to the right. The cap and bloom are the same on both but as you can see they are totally different curves!

I think the over the top bouquet bursting out of the bottle really makes the ordinary extraordinary. Its so pop! Not to say the the bottle shapes aren’t shapely because they are and the do contribute but the gorgeous bloom steals the show any day. There are two main sizes the 1.7oz and the 3.4oz each with there own unique curves. The signature bouquet remains the same on both sizes perched on the gold top. All the colors go great together and are just so now. I’m going to upload a couple of Lola videos later in one of those vid’s ‘an interview with Marc Jacobs’ he touches on his inspiration behind the fragrance and the bouquet topped bottle which in his words all contribute. “There’s a warmth to this a sort of sauciness, a sort of flirtatiousness’, salutariness, a sort of spirit.
As much as I love Lola’s bottle lets be real for a moment – you don’t wear that out. Its the all important what’s inside that counts at the end or at the start of the day. So how best to describe the richly layered fragrance that makes Lola a distinct sassy and ultra-feminine scent.
Lola embodies a saucy, flirtatious, salutary spirit with Its fruity, floral and warm bouquet.
The first impression is a top-note of ‘pink peppercorn‘ that has a delicate berry-like combination with a faint zesty undertone, with ‘pear’ think beautifully golden, ripe, fruity fragrance topped with ruby ‘red grapefruit’ which adds enchanting youthful aroma to the mix. Then come the “heart-notes” Here Lola combines a perfumery of Rose, Fuschia and Geranium.
